High School Social Meetup

Our popular weekly Social Meetup brings a neurodiverse group of high schoolers together to socialize, with some structure and support. We have planned games and crafts prepared each week (like Zen gardens, painting projects, and new and favorite board and video games), but kids can also choose something else from among our excellent supplies.  Groups are facilitated by our young adult mentor/facilitators.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a fairly large group, and somewhat loud, because until we set up a sound barrier, the (happy) noise from kids playing video games can be disruptive to some. We will soon introduce a smaller, quieter group, to run from 2-3:30 pm. Stay tuned.

We know that finances can be a barrier, but we want you to be a member of our community. If the fees are a bit steep for you right now, please reach out at office@dcpeers.org, and we'll happily help you get registered so you’re still able to join us. We would love to see you!
